Quality Management
:
The aim of quality management
is to avoid follow-up costs of faults.
If specific quality requirements shall be achieved,
an exact definition has to be made, what is absolutely necessary and which
level can be reached.
Order placement
Sometimes it happens that due to ill-considered savings
when placing the order faults occur, which are leading to decreasing quality
within production or respectively delayed completion dates of plant components.
The results are dissatisfaction on clients side,
price discounts have to be offered, which are often higher than the expected
savings.
Furthermore plant shutdowns can be as well a result as
well as production losses. Consequences are delayed payments, stretched
warranty periods or even court trials or out of court settlements.
